On my recent visit to Sydney, I ventured down a magical path between Manly and The Spit and discovered the sub tropical beauty of the nature in Sydney. It put a great big smile on my face :)
Sydney Design Festival afficiandos!!
Textile Artists Denise Lithgow, Billie-Jean Scoppa and myself at The Valerie Steele lecture at the Powerhouse Museum. The lecture propelled massive conversations about Art and Fashion, is Fashion Art? Is Art Fashion? Do we like the word Fashion? Does is describe accurately the works of Textile Art, Jewellery Design, Wearable Art, and indeed anything that adorns the human body with care, deliberation and meaning. We thoroughly enjoyed Valerie's lecture, and I for one am very exctied about continuing this conversation, with Valerie in New York.
